Pub Seats

Our client wanted their bench seats restored to their former glory. As the first two photographs show, the seats had been subject to much wear and tear, the pub being very popular. One of the issues they had was in finding a time for the work to be done so that they could remain open to serve their customers. Between us, we came up with a solution.

We measured up all of the seats to calculate the total quantity of material (in this case leather) that was required. We provided our client with samples of the different types of leather that were available, and they made their choice.

Using the exisiting seats as templates, we set about cutting the leather to size. There were a number of different shaped pieces which we then sewed together. With the new seat covers in hand, we returned to the pub and fitted them all. The results of our work can be seen in the second two pictures.

Bespoke Headboard

Our client wanted a bespoke large headboard with built-in power sockets. The power sockets had been postioned in the wall by an electrician to match the width of the bed as per the client's requirements. We used solid foam boards to create the main structure of the headboard because they provide strength and a degree of 'give' at the same time so that the headboard has an element of softness. We cut slots in the solid foam so that they matched the positions of the power sockets perfectly. We covered each of the boards with fabric. We then joined them all together and fixed them to the frame on the wall to produce our finished product and a delighted client.
